Biography:
Dr. Ayah Mohamed specializes in general orthopaedic surgery with a focus on hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions. She earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University, graduating magna cum laude, before receiving her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency training at Howard University and subsequently pursued fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Virginia.Dr. Mohamed is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with the goal of helping patients return to the activities they enjoy most. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling the world, playing soccer, and black-and-white photography.
